MNU Staff Futsal Tournament 1

MNU conducted a futsal tournament from 28/6/2012 to 30/6/201A total of 11 teams participated in the tournament: 3 women’s teams and 8 men’s teams.  Blackhawks won the women’s futsal tournament by defeating team Orchid by one goal to nil. The Queen of the Match was awarded to the Blackhawks forward Hawwa Zahira.

Eight teams were drawn in two groups. In the men’s, after much suspense, the two teams that battled their way to the finals were Pro Sports and FC Premier.

Pro Sports won the men’s by defeating FC Premier. The Man of the Match was awarded to Pro Sports’ Shifau Ahmed Didi — Captain and Forward. The tournament aimed to nurture teamwork and sportsmanship among the staff.
